This year Cronon Hardware is again donating products to the MoçamBIT computer lab. MoçamBIT is a project by the ISDB (Instituto Superior Dom Bosco) technical college in Maputo, the capital city of Mozambique in Africa.
The hardware donated by Cronon was successfully set up at the ISDB. Amongst other things, four Hyper-V servers were installed along with several access points for the campus network. The network switches – donated last year – are still working perfectly and host a distributed campus network.
It has now become tradition to send a delegation of supporters, apprentices, and partners to the ISDB each autumn to further develop the project. For around two weeks now, four apprentices from the Training Association of Berlin Universities (Ausbildungsverbundes der Berliner Universitäten, AFIBs), two former Cronon and STRATO employees have been in Mozambique to continue training the teachers at the technical school. Additionally, there is a new Cronon AG employee and a former AFIB apprentice there who are spending their holiday in Africa supporting the project.
The ISDB is one of the few institutions in Mozambique that trains technical college teachers. Currently, the employees there are working on expanding an e-learning platform that will make distance learning possible. With this platform, the college’s catchment area will grow significantly. Until now, some 200 prospective teachers have been using the learning environment as part of the pilot phase. Cronon, STRATO, and the MoçamBIT team are providing assistance with the technical implementation of the platform.

Nowadays, to keep calling advanced document management systems ‘DMS’ doesn’t really do them justice. Document management systems – which digitally manage hard-copy documents – have long since evolved into ‘enterprise content management systems’, which enable companies to manage, archive and process all forms of information as part of a holistic process.
Cronon AG has taken note of this trend and is changing the name of its universal document management interface (uDMS) to universal enterprise content management interface for Infor LN (ECM4LN). With the aid of this interface, the most diverse ECM systems – including ECM Workflow – can be linked to Infor LN, Infor Baan IV and Infor Baan 5 in record time.
If you have any questions about our ECM4LN universal interface, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org – Ivan Dreznjak and Tihomir Jurcevic will be happy to answer your queries.

Your Cronon AG
Just in time for CeBIT, Cronon AG has taken its corporate design further and – in addition to an updated website – is introducing new imagery and new logos for its divisions.
Red contrasting with black characterises the new, clear Cronon website whose page structure has been streamlined and from which extraneous points have been removed:
A strong perspective and reduced colouration make the new photos stand out. They form a bridge between our clients’ industries and the Cronon AG service portfolio. Cronon AG is represented in the photos by the red image of the Cronon logo:
New division logos
Two additional logos will make it possible to immediately and clearly distinguish between information specific to the ISP and ERP divisions at Cronon:
